Mango, my love I can’t forget the time I met Mango. She was a very friendly puppy that listened well since the beginning. Back when I was knocking on Hollywood’s door with the movie “X-Men”, I was living in the US, but the process to bring Mango from Korea to the US was very slow. It was frustrating. I can’t say how happy I was the day Mango and I finally reunited at LA airport in the fall of 2009. She was adorable and since she had been holding it in for more than 10 hours, she had to take care of her business on the airport lawn.
Pleasant relationship Soo Hyun and I worked for the first time together in 2010 for the drama “Fugitive Plan B”. We were from the same agency, she could speak English too, so we got more and more occasions to have sincere discussions. What’s impressive about her is the fact that she’s nice and knows how to take care of others while being professional, so her future is promising. I think she’s an actress who has what it takes to have an international career.
My three 2013 keywords Number 1 is “Busy” [t/n: in English]. The movies (“Last Stand”, “Spy”, “Shanghai Calling”) I participated in premiered one after the other. Meanwhile, I also shot a pilot for a US TV show and I also went to auditions, so I was very busy. Number 2 is “Growth” [t/n: in English]. I feel like I’m a bit more mature because it was a year that allowed me to inspect my life, my relationships, my career through a new perspective. I tested my potential, I also experienced failure because I actually tried. It was a time for me to be very patient while I was waiting. The last one is “Unsatisfied” [t/n: in English]. Despite all of this, some things were unsatisfying. I don’t mean it in a negative way. I just mean that I must think about the efforts I need to make up for what I’m lacking of.
What I must love and protect… ‘Family, Friends and Yourself.’[t/n: in English] I think you can love others when you love yourself. Shouldn’t you protect and love more love itself?
